Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Dartington Hall Estate, Totnes, Devon, Baldy Lox Boutique Luxury Lace Wigs ® is a UK wig haven boasting designer pieces online and now in The Studio. Our studio is based on 1,200 acres of beautiful parkland for you to explore before or after your consultation with us.
Buying online can feel overwhelming especially if you are new to wigs. We would love to welcome you a private service where you will have dedicated time with us to ensure you are seen and cared for with the level of attention you truly deserve. We want to give you the full BLB experience in all its glory, to see, touch and try on our quality designer pieces. Whether if there is a wig with your name on it here in our studio or should you wish to discuss a customised order, we can help you find "the one!"
We have a special collection of stunning wigs reserved specifically for The Studio to take home beautifully packaged in our signature gift box and bag. Upon arrival, we will spoil you with complimentary refreshments from confectionery to a glass of bubbly during your stay!

Securing Your Booking
Bookings are subject to a deposit payment of £40. Please note, deposits for all services are non-refundable.
Should you wish to purchase a wig, a £40 deposit will be taken off the total amount. This is for Consultations and 'Try before you buy' appointments only.
Once your booking has been secured, an email confirming your appointment will be sent out. This email will include information about your booking, time and location.
Should you wish to cancel your appointment, you can do this in the confirmation booking email. For any assistance rescheduling, please contact info@baldyloxboutique.com
House Rules
You are welcome to attend your appointment with loved ones for support. If children are to be present, they must be accompanied by an additional adult at all times. There is a play park, cinema, cafes and country walks on the estate should your little ones need to run off some energy.
Pets are not allowed in the studio except guide/assistance dogs.
Other Companies Wigs
If you are using another companies wig for an install, we will need the wig to be sent to us 7 days prior to your appointment so we can see if additional customisation is required.
Late Fees
All bookings are based on a tight schedule. We allow a 15 minute grace period. Should you be 20-30 minutes late, a late fee of £30 will be applied.
A £10 fee is added for every 10 minutes late.
If you are over 30 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled.

Our Wig Collection Appointment offers you a dedicated 15-minute time slot, free of charge, for clients collecting their custom wig orders. This quick and efficient session is designed solely for the purpose of handing over your wig and ensuring it meets your expectations upon collection.
Please note that this appointment is limited to wig collection only. For consultations, adjustments, or any further services, please book a separate appointment.

We are dedicated to providing you with the best lace wig fitting experience, ensuring that your new wig not only fits perfectly but looks flawless and natural. If you’re collecting your custom order or a wig purchased from us, we can provide an installation service to help you walk out feeling confident and ready to wear your new look.
This service includes:
- Lace Cutting
- Glueless Wig Install
- Adhesive Wig Install (Glue or Tape)
- Cut & Styling
Client Notice: We primarily work with hair loss clients; however, we warmly welcome everyone who uses wigs. If you have hair, please arrive with clean and pre-braided hair to ensure a smooth installation process. Should you wish for an install on a wig from another company, we kindly ask for the wig to be sent to us 7 days prior to your install appointment, so we can assess if any customisation is needed.
Note: Hair washing and braiding services will soon be available as additional options.
We highly recommend all clients book a private 1:1 consultation with our team before placing a customised wig order. This exclusive session, lasting 60 minutes, is designed to ensure your wig is perfectly tailored for a comfortable fit and flawless install. During the consultation, we will take detailed measurements of your head and discuss various cap constructions, styles, lengths, densities, cuts, and colours available to suit your needs.
Please note, this is a private consultation only and not an appointment to try on wigs. Instead, we will focus on helping you create or choose the perfect wig based on our professional recommendations. To try on our wigs, you must book a 'Try Before you Buy' appointment.
For security reasons, we do not leave any wig designs in our studio overnight. Our designs are only brought to the studio on the days required for 'Try Before you Buy' appointments.
Bookings require a deposit payment of £40, which is non-refundable. However, if you proceed with purchasing a wig, the £40 deposit will be deducted from the total amount.
We welcome and recommend all our clients have a private 'try before you buy' with our team before placing an order. It is imperative to have the correct size wig for a comfortable wear and a flawless install. Our private 'try before you buy' will last for 60 minutes. You get to try on our exclusive designer wigs from our wig studio for fit and inspiration. Should you not see what you like, you can be the designer yourself and create your very own customised wig with us.
