CAP CONSTRUCTIONS

Our Beginner Cap is a great option if you’re new to wigs. It is in fact our most popular choice simply because of the convenience this cap design brings as well as the longevity you will get from it. Typically, because it is a lace frontal design, it features a closed weft construction at the back making it easy to wear without much fuss. It resembles a medical cap because of the silicone strips placed at the back which is perfect for people with medical hair loss conditions but also great for people with hair or very little of. Like all of our cap constructions - apart from our complete full lace cap, We have the adjustable straps located at the nape should you wish to cinch in the circumference for a tighter fit. We have silicone hoops position at the back to sit securely without the need of adding an adhesive. We have specifically structured a wired material placed onto the nape that is malleable so you can bend it in to sit and lay flush onto your nape. This is great should you wish to wear this wig into a pony tail as this element will make it sit secure and have a natural appearance at the back. Located at the front, you have a generous area of lace that sits onto your crown which is great for breathability purposes and provides a variety of options for you to freely part the wig in which ever direction you wish.

Why is this cap considered glue less? 

The silicone place on either side of the ear tabs are specifically positioned to sit comfortably above your ear to secure the lace to lay flush to your temples. We have designed it to give you just enough lace for that natural hair line we all desire from ear to ear but not too much where it is left unattended. Essentially it acts like an anchor or a strong foundation to hold down the lace. However, people feel comfortable with what they are used to so even though an adhesive is not needed, it doesn’t mean you can’t use it. You absolutely can if you prefer. The removable and adjustable band at the back is an added element to use to help lay the lace on your forehead flush without adding an adhesive.

Beginner caps are known to fit more snug compared to the other cap constructions and that is simply because of the added materials for an easy and fuss free wear! The advantages: Out of all or cap designs, this one in particular will provide you the most longevity. Simply because no adhesives are required for a secure fit. When we start adding tapes, glues and hair sprays, essentially you are tampering with the lace. This also means it requires less washing which therefore promotes the longevity of your wig. It is easy to apply and remove which is perfect for beginners but also convenient for pros!

The disadvantages: The hair line is not as contoured as our other designs because we need to add more hair around the ear tabs to disguise them. Should you wish to style the wig in ways where it would require a parting at the back. Sadly you will expose the wefts at the back and therefore it will not look natural. 

This cap features a lace front that provides a contoured natural-looking hairline from ear to ear. The 6 inches of lace towards the back gives you a generous parting space. This is perfect for styling with updos or braids. Typically, because it is a lace frontal design, it features a closed weft construction at the back making it easy to wear without much fuss. It is almost identical to our beginner cap, the only difference is that the back does not have silicone and the ear taps are smaller and less visible. Like the beginner cap, the v wired ear tabs on either side can be bent to sit towards the temples to help position the lace flush towards the temples. This cap can be worn glue-less however, even though the hair line would be considered more natural the downside is that it may require an adhesive to help lay the lace flush and sit secure on either side of your temples! This is because there is more space of lace between the hair line and the v wired ear tabs. This can be tricky for beginners and for those with a natural bio hair line. However, because the ear tabs are smaller and require less hair to disguise them, the density around the hair line does resemble a more natural hair line from ear to ear.

However, the space of lace from the hair line to the ear tabs is the same as our lace frontal and you may want to add an adhesive for a more secure fit. Like all of our cap constructions - apart from our complete full lace cap, We have the adjustable straps located at the nape should you wish to cinch in the circumference for a tighter fit. The longevity can be impressive if cared for properly.

You will need a strong adhesive to manually apply in sections to mould the cap construction to your head shape. There are no ear tabs just an adjustable strap to cinch in the circumference! It will purely rely upon a very strong adhesive to secure it.
